About Alex


Alexander is an Edmonton–based multidisciplinary artist. A theatre professional since 1998, Alex has performed in over thirty productions on stages in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg including eight of his own works. An avid writer, Alex has also expanded into screenwriting, penning several shorts produced and shot in Edmonton. Acting credits include: 7 Ways to Die, a love story, Bedlam (Junior Jester Cap Award, Calgary Fringe Festival), Serial, Rook, Whiskey, Gin, and Pints of Beer, and Charming Charlotte (K.I.A. Productions), Passages (Ribbit Republic), Quinn’s Death (Porchlight Productions), A Christmas Carol and Romeo & Juliet (Citadel Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (457 Productions) and Hamlet (Theatre Prospero). Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Creative Writing from the University of Alberta.
